After summer newsletter
Hello dear friend,
How was your summer? It seems to have flown by! I got back from my art residency in North Macedonia less than 2 weeks ago, and I’m already jumping into my Master in International Artist Educator at ArtEZ in Arnhem—with two big exhibitions just around the corner.
✧ To learn more about the works I made during my artist residency period of August - of which some is made in collaboration with my partner, musician Andrius Dereviancenko - check out my website.
From 18–21 September, the Glue Design Route takes place, and I’ll be exhibiting an overview of my Collective Weavings at de Waag, Nieuwmarkt. It’s the first time I’m showing a collection of these works together—pieces created with local communities in different contexts, from Amsterdam New-West to a village in Hungary and rural Morocco. And of course, a brand-new collective weaving will take shape during the Glue days.
I’ll be at de Waag everyday from 12.00 to 18.00, so feel free to drop by! If you’re interested in joining the opening, read more about the event and sign up here.
From 18 October 2025 to 18 January 2026, my Collective Weavings will be on view at Museum Het Schip, in the museum café, alongside the contemporary exhibition Unknown Talents: Women of the Amsterdamse School. The opening takes place on Saturday 18th of October from 16:00 to 18:00—and of course you are warmly invited to join!
Later, three collective weaving sessions will take place at the museum, continuing works that began last winter with the local craft group Haak & Maak (women from Geuzenveld). Everyone is welcome to join, contribute, and maybe even learn a thing or two about weaving! The sessions are on

30 November - 13:00 to 17:00 - free entrance, workshop- walk in
14 December - 13:00 to 17:00 - free entrance, workshop- walk in
At the end of November, I’m honored to be featured in Textielplus magazine, with an article about my collective practice and a spread of my autonomous work in the section ‘Het Kunstwerk’.
💜⚡Thank you for reading. Keep warm and I hope to see you soon! 🔥🦋
